2. Honing

Honing uses diamond abrasives to remove scratches, etch marks, and wear patterns. We progress through increasingly fine grits — starting at 220 and working up to 800 or even 3000 grit — to create a smooth, uniform surface.

3. Polishing

After honing, we use finer diamond pads and polishing compounds to bring out the stone's natural shine. This step creates the reflective, mirror-like finish that makes marble so desirable.

4. Sealing

The final step is applying a premium penetrating sealer. This protects the marble from stains and moisture without altering its appearance. In South Florida, we recommend resealing every 6–12 months.
